The Menu
At The Butcher Shop & Grill we use only "Mature Aged Meat". Our meat is hung in carcass for up to 3 days, thereafter the Rump, Sirloin, Fillet, Rib-Eye, T-Bone and Prime Rib are Aged" for approximately 21 - 40days.
(Any special requests for larger cuts will be individually cut at our in-house butchery)
SA beef is leaner in natural fat (11%) than beef from the USA (33%) and Europe (23%). As a result meat cooked past medium tends to dry out quickly, in perticular fillet. We cannot accept responsibility for any steaks cooked over medium.
