Middelvlei Free Run
Winemaker: Tinnie Momberg

The appearance is a deep ruby red with violet edges. On the nose you will find sweet raspberry aromas with mulberry undertones and elegant oak spices. The palate shows a medium-bodied wine packed with fruit flavours.

Meinert "Printer's Ink"
Winemaker: Martin Meinert

As scion of a namibian printing and publishing family and ex-journalist. I thought it apt to name this deeply coloured pinotage “printer’s ink . It is full bodied, elegant and has richness on the mid-palate.

Rijk's Private Cellar
Winemaker: Pierre Wahl

An orchestra of cherry tobacco and plum aromas are present, while backed by pure pinotage fruit. These red fruit aromas carry through onto a rich palate supported by a good concentration of tannin and oak which is well integrated.

Simonsig Redhill

Filled with aromas of mulberry and raspberry fruit followed by subtle, spicy oak. Delicious density and persistence in a framework of fine grained tannins.

Vriesenhof pinot noir
Winemaker: Jan "Boland" Coetzee

The wine shows classic Pinot Noir perfumes and flavours. Bright red fruit, strawberry and raspberries on the nose with a hint of forest floor that carry through to the palate.

Anthonij rupert cabernet franc
Winemaker: Dawie Botha

The Cabernet Franc shows flavours of raspberries and blackcurrant, white pepper, warm spices and violets. This well structured wine has a good density and long finish.

Paul cluver 7 flags pinot noir
Winemaker: Andries Burger

Andries believes that the essence of a great Pinot noir is the purity of fruit and the structure of the wine.
The wine has this essence, substantiated by its natural acidity.
The colour has a luminosity, reminiscent of ripe cherries.
Structured and poised, with a tantalizing mineral core.

La motte
Winemaker: Edmund Terblanche

The wine has a particularly clear colour, with just a hint of light straw. On the nose, apple is the most prominent fruit, followed by gooseberries and a green pepper fragrance. The palate is very dry but well rounded, with a lingering, fresh aftertaste.

22-year-old vines. Complex, luxurious combination of passion fruit and flintiness giving a full mouthfeel with stylish length.

Aromas of grapefruit, intense tropical fruit and ripe gooseberries overlay herbal and fynbos undertones. The palate is keenly balanced with rich tropical flavours followed by minerality and length.


Simonsig gewurztraminer

The late harvested fruit provides a delicate sweetness, kept in balance by the refreshing acidity. This wine has a beautifully concentrated fruit intensity and is famous for its longevity.

Howard booysen pegasus weisser riesling
Winemaker: Howard Booysen

Beautiful floral nose with rose and spice. Soft and fruity with balanced acidity. Not too sweet.

Zewenwacht bouquet blanc
Winemaker: Jacques Viljoen

Notes of honeysuckle, lemon and peaches. Subtle flavours of litchi and rose petals contributed by the Gewürztraminer combined beautifully with the classic Riesling.

An expressive nose with hints of apple and lime, citrus peel and gentle floral notes. The palate is well-balanced with great interplay between sugar and acidity with a luscious, creamy mouthfeel.


Terra del capo pinot grigio
Winemaker: Neil Patterson

Italian variety grown in the Cape. This wine captivates the nose with primary pink and white fruit, litchi, strawberry and citrus. Fruit flavours follow on the palate.

Ken forrester chenin blanc
Winemaker: Ken Forrester

Harmonious balance between fruit and delicate oak, vanilla flavours. Dried apricot and pineapple, with a hint of vanilla and some typical Chenin honey notes on along lasting finish.

Haute cabriere chardonnay/ pinot noir
Winemaker: Achim von Arnim

The wine is refined, with a firm acidity and an abundance of ripe fruit on the bouquet and palate. The aftertaste lingers long on the palate, a typical characteristic of Cabriere wines. A perfect partner to the array of seafood served at The Butcher Shop.

Black oyster catcher white pearl
Winemaker: Dirk Human

A pleasant nose of capsicum, tropical fruit, gooseberries with touches of ginger and lemon. Full-bodied yet crisp and firm on the palate with a long enjoyable finish.

Sadie family palladius
Winemaker: Eben Sadie

Grapefruit and acidity of Chenin complementing the rich spiciness of Viognier. It has a wonderfully rich nose that’s perfumed and spicy, with herby, melony fruit. The palate is dense and rich with lovely open fruit and good acidity.

Straw coloured with a greenish tint. Intense and diverse aromas of almond, citrus and hints of vanilla. Full bodied, creamy palate supported by lively acid on the finish.

Hartenberg riesling

One of the noble varieties of the world bursting with typical Riesling characteristics of spices and floral notes. Elegant on the palate with a great balance of fruit and acidity.

Saronsberg viognier
Winemaker: Dewaldt Heyns

The wine has alight straw colour and flavours of butterscotch, nutty caramel, pear and lime. It has a rich, silky palate and a balanced oak finish.

Stylish and refined, elegantly effervescent, dry in styles.

Pol roger brut reserve nv

A beautiful gold straw hue with a lively, energetic and fine mousse. Fruity and floral aromas on the nose, ripe and thirst quenching on the palate with a superb taste of brioche. Broad and long through the finish.

Veuve cliquot nv

The first sip delivers a symphony of tastes and the lingering aromas echo with each distinct fruit or spice note.

Taittinger brut réserve nv

A light, superbly balanced champagne; remaining elegant while offering rich creamy fruit and a great depth of flavour. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey.

Taittinger brut rosé nv

This velvety Champagne, of fine balance and body, is a subtle wine with flavours of fresh red fruit. The taste is balanced and youthful.

Moët et chandon brut rosé nv

Time honoured quality from the House of Moët. Delicate fruit on the nose explodes as a mouthful of strawberry sherbert. Fabulous appetizer.

Billecart-salmon brut rosé

Salmon-pink and full of vibrant fruit flavours ranging through strawberry and citrus; its length not inhibited by the purity and delicacy of its structure.

Dom perignon

Rich and concentrated with aromas of toasted almonds, dry fig and peaches following through onto the palate.

Guardian peak lapa

Winemaker: Philip van Staden

Eucalyptus aromas are prominent with a hint of pencil lead, characteristic to cabernet sauvignon. Rich, ripe tannins come to the fore backed up by a powerful mid-palate.

Thelema cabernet

Winemaker: Rudi Schultz

Complex and stylish with bags of ripe blackcurrant and coffee flavours. The wine is bone-dry, yet exhibits a lovely fruit character on the palate. The finish is long and firm.

Cederberg five generations

Winemaker: David Niewoudt

Rich aromas of blackcurrant and cassis, layered with dark chocolate and cherry tobacco. A lingering, velvety texture on the palate with ripe tannin structure.


Haskellaeon shiraz

Winemaker: Rianie Strydom

Elements of red cherries, cinnamon and black pepper on the nose. The palate has a firm tannin structure with good dimension and balance.


Winemaker: Carl Schulz

One of sa's leading shirazes, packed with peppery spices and glorious plum and fruit flavours. Full-bodied with a smokey, velvety finish.

La motte

Winemaker: Edmund Terblanche

The nose shows familiar shiraz spice such as pepper, aniseed, cinnamon and clove. This is backed up by blackcurrant fruit and sweet candy floss and liquorice aromas.

Delaire shiraz

Winemaker: Morné Vrey

Juicy, ripe and approachable, it has spicy, peppery undertones and dark fruit aromas. Characterised by versatility, it demonstrates a smooth soft palate and savoury finish.

Cirrus syrah

Winemaker: Schalk Opperman

Mainly shiraz with a touch of viognier. Silky rich fruit, layered complexity and pliable tannins.

Anthonij Rupert syrah

Winemaker: Dawie Botha

The syrah is a rich, full-bodied wine with dark chocolate and mocha on the palate with warm spices and ground pepper. The wine is dense with smooth tannins and a long finish.

Rust en vrede single vineyard syrah

Winemaker: Coenie Snyman

Outspoken aromas of mocha and liquorice are backed up with subtle notes of jasmine.

A powerful wine with a well defined tannin structure.

Sadie family columella

Winemaker: Eben Sadie

80% syrah, 20% mourvèdre.

The palate is dark and quite tannic with spicy red and black fruits and a rich, chocolate character. It is very well-structured with lovely purity and integrated oak.


Shannon mount bullet

Sugared plums, violets and tomato lead a savoury element packed with concentrated fruit. A real find for the person trying these wines for the first time.

Hartenberg snuff box merlot

Winemaker: Carl Shultz

Elegant and voluptuous with layers of mocha, plums and cigar box. Soft, velvety but still complex. To be enjoyed with a good steak or rich meaty dish.

De grendel

Winemaker: Charles Hopkins

A full bodied wine filled with a combination of different berries on the nose. Mulberry, raspberry, and blackberry fruit accompanied by liquorice and mocha flavours that carry through on palate.

Elegant, fruity and soft but as always in the classical Meinert style. An appetizing mix of red currant, mint, spice and mineral aromas, the palate is soft with a touch of firmness on

the finish.

A typical Merlot nose with juicy plum and mulberry fruit, lifted spiciness and hints of dark chocolate and ink. The palate offers generous, ripe, pure Merlot fruit with refreshing acidity, structured yet silky tannins and pronounced length and minerality.

Jordan nine yards

Butterscotch, cloves, orange peel with complex mineral citrus flavours. Rich mouth feel and balanced oak integrate with long tropical finish.

Springfield wild yeast

Unwooded and fermented with native yeast present in the vineyard. Deliciously complex with flavours of pineapple and pear drops.

Bouchard finlayson sans barrique

Strong citrus and apple fruitiness; dry mineral tones on the mid-palate. Light bodied and unwooded.

Rupert & rothschild baroness nadine

A vibrant fusion of flinty freshness, lime, blossom and refined ruby grape fruit tones with a hint of gooseberry. Delicate and elegantly structured with nuances of roasted almonds and vanilla.

The palate is full, round and shows a complexity of fruit, well balanced with the supporting oak flavours. The minerality keeps the flavours fresh and ensures along after-taste.

Radforddale chardonnay

Mulderbosch rosé

This wine offers a salmon pink drink with a good dollop of cherry fruit flavours and enough weight to accompany grilled salmon or even a superbly cooked rib-eye steak.

Morgenster caruso

Dry rosé made from Sangiovese grapes offers fresh vibrant fruit and rich spices. Elegantly styled palate.

Demorgenzon garden vineyards rose

Deep salmon pink with onion skin tones. Cherries and strawberries on the nose, followed by a crisp summer fruit salad palate. The balance is perfect, ending dry and crisp, enticing you to take another sip!
